NHS Consultant Appointment

Mrs Sarah Hussain was appointed Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist at Whipps Cross University Hospital in 1995. Her practice encompasses all aspects of obstetrics and gynaecology with a particular interest in pelvic floor reconstructive surgery & minimal access gynaecological surgery, thus minimising length of patient stay in hospital. She also performs outpatient hysteroscopy. She runs a weekly NHS one stop clinic for women suffering from menstrual disorders and post menopausal bleeding.

She is involved in teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate students. She runs the MRCOG written and OSCI courses at Whipps Cross University Hospital.
